Our People at Lawcorp

Lawcorp have a dedicated team of some thirteen people with a broad experience base who work hard together and individually to deliver the quality of service our clients have come to expect. Key people in the firm are:

Don Smarrelli     

Don was one of the original founding partners of the firm in 1979. Over the journey, Don has practiced in most areas of law in the many jurisdictions and now draws on his experience as Principal of the firm. He is responsible for the success and development of the firm and its staff as well as focusing on the key areas of Commercial law, Joint ventures, White Collar crime and Estate Planning.

Don also acts as general counsel to several of the firm's marquee clients locally and internationally.

Michael Laino   

The practice of Laino & Co was merged with Lawcorp Lawyers in 2002 where Michael became a key player in the firm. Michael has had a varied legal career including working as a general counsel for a number of multinational companies and more recently as a sole practitioner.

Michael has extensive experience in Property , Commercial and Corporate Law including international joint ventures and commercial litigation. He also takes the overall responsibility for the firm's Conveyancing service.

Danijela Luzaic  

Danijela joined Lawcorp Lawyers in 2001 bringing with her a fresh and vibrant approach to the firm's Building and Litigation team. Danijela practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, building disputes, insolvency and white collar crime appearing regularly as an advocate before the various Courts and Tribunals.

Danijela has built a strong reputation over the years and her extensive experience compliments that of the firm's other practitioners.

Adrian De Luca

Adrian commenced his career with Lawcorp Lawyers as a law clerk before being admitted to the legal profession. As a new member of our team, Adrian has gained experience in the areas of Civil and Commercial Litigation, Criminal Law, Insolvency Law and Property Law. Adrian works closely with members of Lawcorp Lawyers' litigation team assisting in all areas of litigation with his particular focus being in Building and Construction Law.
